Our Story
Hey! We’re Elise & Josh, a couple of coffee-connoisseurs and dog-lovers!
We’re both originally from the Upstate of South Carolina, and we’re die-hard Clemson fans. We love a good cup of coffee as much as a winning football season; and we strive to bring the best brew to our neighbors in Huntersville and Lake Norman.
We started Ruff Roast Coffee Co. with the intention of bringing quality coffee to the people of Huntersville and Lake Norman. We value community, sustainability, and transparency. We honor these values by giving back to our community, recycling products responsibly, and being honest about what’s in our products.

Our little Hanky Panky touched our hearts and lives for 14 years and left us in 2021. Ruff Roast was conceptualized with Hank firmly and mind and he will continue to inspire us.
